The solution
One record, two copies
When you record a sale, your customer gets the same record at the same time. It's kept under their phone number, together with every receipt they've had from other sellers on Proveam. Neither of you can change it later. A mistake gets a new correction receipt.
For sellers
- Who owes you. Every customer's balance, any time. No more scrolling back through chats.
- Payments against sales. Each payment is linked to the sale it's for, so you both see what's left.

What your customer receives
A short WhatsApp message with the receipt attached as a PDF, from Proveam and naming your business. "Not correct" flags it to you; "My receipts" opens every receipt they have.
Receipts carry your name and logo: send your logo with the caption logo. On a busy day, record sales on your dashboard instead: item lines, quantities and prices, with past items one tap away.

Common questions
How does my customer get receipts?
Add their number the first time you record a sale for them, for example Sam 08031234567 2 gowns 40k paid 20k. You can also send it afterwards: type the number, or just share their contact from your phone. From then on their name is enough, and every sale and payment sends them a receipt.
How do I write a sale?
Name, what they bought, the total and what they paid: Sam 2 gowns 40k paid 20k. If they paid in full, the amount is enough: Zainab 1 birthday cake 25k. Add installment for a payment plan. Text menu for examples.
What happens when a customer taps "Not correct"?
You're told which receipt they think is wrong, so you can sort it out with them. If it needs fixing, the correction goes out as a new receipt. The original is never changed.
Won't customers find receipts too formal?
A receipt is normal for any purchase. And because it shows what's still owed, you don't have to bring up the balance yourself.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 7 days from your first sale, with no card needed. After that it's ₦500 a month, plus a payment processing fee shown at checkout. Text subscribe to pay.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted, and you can keep recording sales and checking balances. Receipts to your customers and your monthly sales and top customers stop until you pay again.
Can I see old receipts?
Yes. Every receipt comes as a PDF, so it can be saved or printed the moment it arrives. Text dashboard for a private link to every receipt you've received, and every one you've issued if you sell.
Can I make receipts without typing a message?
Yes. Text dashboard and tap Record a sale: fill in the customer, the items, quantities and prices, and what they paid. Past items are one tap away, and the customer gets the same receipt.
Can customers sign up for my receipts themselves?
Yes. Text link and share the link it sends you, in your status, bio or chats. When a customer taps it and presses send, they're signed up for your receipts.
Can customers stop receipts?
Yes. Replying STOP stops all receipts to their number, and START turns them back on.
How do I know a receipt is genuine?
Scan the code on it, or pick the receipt PDF at proveam.com/verify. You'll see who issued it, when, for how much, and whether it was later cancelled. A PDF that was changed won't match.
